Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 May 2026 · Ebookly (operated by RENNETRELIMITED)

By signing up for Ebookly you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — they explain what you are subscribing to, what it costs, and how to cancel.

1. The Service

Ebookly is a digital subscription service that delivers one ebook (EPUB and/or PDF format) to your email address every week. Books are selected and delivered by Ebookly and may include fiction and non-fiction titles across a range of genres.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to subscribe to Ebookly. By completing the age verification step you confirm that you meet this requirement. Ebookly reserves the right to terminate subscriptions found to belong to persons under 18.

3. Subscription Plans & Pricing

All prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by Mollie B.V. and will appear on your bank statement as EBOOKLY IO or RENNETRELIMITED.

4. Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. On day 8, your first subscription payment is taken automatically using the payment method you authorised during sign-up. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid any charge.

5. Automatic Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment mandate you authorised. You will not receive a separate confirmation before each renewal charge. You can cancel at any time — see Section 6.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Ebookly subscription at any time with no minimum commitment:

7. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@ebookly.io within 14 days of a charge and we will issue a full refund with no questions asked. Refund requests received after 14 days are considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Age Verification & Payment Authorisation

To sign up, you complete an age verification step that initiates a £0.00 Mollie payment authorisation. This step:

By completing this step you explicitly authorise Ebookly to collect the subscription fee at the end of your free trial and on each subsequent billing date.

9. Intellectual Property

Ebooks delivered through Ebookly are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any content received through the service.

10. Availability

Ebookly aims to deliver one ebook per week. In exceptional circumstances (technical issues, licensing delays) a delivery may be postponed. No refund is due for a single missed delivery, but we will make it up in the following week.

11. Limitation of Liability

Ebookly's liability to you is limited to the total subscription fees paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. Ebookly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
